HUGE gaffes by Mcderpitt in this game, as I'd expected a panic decision from him in the game, but the guy had multiple. Chasing points multiple times, and then being down 7, going for it on 4th down when you're going to need a stop and scoring drive to win the game regardless, I mean that was just pure panic mode. It worked out, but if they had failed that 4th down and got 0 when they were gonna need 2 scores to win anyway, I'm not sure what his answer would be post game. Coached scared out if his mind.
How many times do you need to see KC stuff your chickenshit qb sneak until you just let Allen use his legs from shotgun? KC stuffed more than they allowed.
Then the icing on the cake, the revenge play, we got embarrassed by Allen in November on a play everyone knew he was keeping the ball, the Bills and McDerpitt had to know the 3rd and 9 was a screen or a dump off. It was a 53 yard fg if we gained nothing. We needed yards and clock moving. I told my wife 100% this is a screen or dump off, and when I saw 34 in there I pointed him out. Yeah it was good window dressing ib the play design, but come on man. You have to know the ball is going to the back there. Not only gave up the few yards for easier fg, they surrendered the game.
McDerpitt and Allen are now 0-4 against KC in post season. A bigger monkey on your back you'll never find, and it's just more mental money in the bank for the next time we see them.
If I'm the Buffalo front office, McDerpitt is out. You had an MVP caliber season from your qb, a solid running game, and once again, it came down to terrible decisions and poor defense in the biggest spot.
0-4. How much more does the Bills front office need to see?

What really comes down to is this; who else are they going to get? They're always in the mix until January, so you're missing out on any hot coordinator who is most likely not going to be any better than McDermott anyway. What else are you going to do? Try to lure BB away from North Carolina? I mean, what are your other options?
The Bills are in a really tough spot, because in most eras this team probably already has 1-2 Super Bowl appearances. The year of 13 seconds, they would have absolutely trounced the Bengals. They just happen to keep running into the best HC, QB and DC trio in the history of pro football.
