The team from 2 years ago didn’t blitz, either. It ran 4-man pressures and relied on a deep front four. They led the league in sacks by a big margin and that was why they were supposed to kill KC. Mitchell and De Jean are good, but let’s not act like they’re a pair of Sauce Gardners as rookies. The Eagles also had a pretty good trio of CB in the last matchup, and KC had less at receiver (by a fair bit).
The second level of the Eagles defense can still be picked on. Your LB aren’t good in coverage, especially Baun.
I respect the Eagles front, and Gardner-Johnson is a good and physical safety.
I don’t think people understand how much better this receiving corps is than what KC has had in the past, because KC just hasn’t had everyone available much.
