If we win this SB then he's at 5 SB, but he only has 2 1st Team All-Pros, 2 2nd Team All-Pros, 4 Pro Bowls. Just look at Will Shields resume. He doesn't have the SBs, but he was on the 2000s all decade team, 2x 1st Team All-Pro, 4x 2nd Team All-Pro, and 12 straight Pro Bowl selections.
There are a few guys with 3 1st Team All-Pros that aren't in the HOF.
It's hard for guards to get in the HOF. There are only 16 in the entire HOF.

The HOF voters do place a premium on championships and Thuney has them with multiple teams. That gives him a clear edge over someone like Will Shields, for example.
