When he's on, he knows that pressure is there and he adjusts his throwing angle a bit to speed that up and get it out. Or he kinda braces as he throws.
That bizarre contortion shit he can do with his arm is one of the things that makes him great. Mere mortals get a bump from the side and fire a ball 8 yards away from where they were aiming. PM doesn't -- he trains himself to be able to deal with exactly that sort of maelstrom.
It was just another example of a play that 'Good Pat' doesn't get so rattled by and 'Bad Pat' just does....that.
I couldn't believe that kind of contact had him doing that with the ball. He takes more than that a half dozen times a game and the ball doesn't due what it did there. He was just really messed up.
