Let's break this response down.

Most?
2018 - no question, Eric Fisher
2019 - no question, Eric Fisher
2020 - no question, Eric Fisher (blows his Achilles, career over, in AFC championship game)
2021 - no question, traded 1st round pick for Orlando Brown after trying to make Trent Williams the highest paid T in the league.
2022 - no question, Orlando Brown
2023 - question, get through season with Donovan Smith
2024 - questions, try to cover position with two young players. Did not develop quickly enough/work

So really, you can say - at most - they have had TWO seasons with questions at the LT spot. And really, only one of those was a "well, we'll see what sticks" year.

2/7 or 1/7... neither is "most."

He WAS serviceable. For sure. The Chiefs offered him a lot of money and a deal on par with/better than the one he actually signed. (And even that deal was more than many were comfortable with).

But ok let's do it anyway.
Hindsight is a powerful evaluation tool, unfortunately unavailable to everyone except Doc Brown, Marty McFly, and occasionally Biff Tannen.

They had two young players with the physical tools they like at LT. They tried to get through the season and let them develop. It didn't work. Yes, it was a risk. But as pointed out, when you are drafting where the Chiefs are, and great LTs rarely make it to true free agency, it's a tough spot.

As pointed out above, they have not been going into most seasons with questions at LT.

They spent a decent chunk on Moore to try and fix LT. We don't know what the rest of the plan is. Is there another depth veteran signing coming (Cam Robinson? Jedrick Wills? D.J. Humphries?)? Will they spend another draft pick on a player at that position?

Too soon to know and evaluate. Again, unless you're Biff Tannen.

It's easy to say "FIX IT VEACH." It is quite another to, actually, fix it.

So that's what is up, Biff.
