I'll take another run post-round one of FA:
ProFootballNetwork
1.31: Walter Nolen (DT), Ole Miss
Exciting young DT with tons of athleticism/potential. We go for one of the top DT's in round 1...and while it's a best player available situation, it's also a position of need for us.
2.63: Mason Taylor (TE), LSU
Another BPA pick but will be the heir apparent to the TE1 position in 2026. I've heard Travis say great things about him on their podcast, and I think he's got what we're looking for...not to mention that father/son NFL pedigree.
3.66: Princely Umanmielen (EDGE), Ole Miss
Back to Mississippi with our 3rd pick. This guy was clearly BPA on the board when I picked, and gives us another edge rusher to push Felix. I think he can be really effective in the NFL.
3.95: Ajani Cornelius (OT), Oregon
I picked him in my first draft too, I believe. I think he's ascending as a tackle and would slide in at RT when we move on from Jawaan Taylor after next season. Lots of potential here.
4.133: Jacob Parrish (CB), Kansas State
Too much value at a critical position to pass on. Ran a 4.35. Not sure he's a Spags guy, but I see a ton of potential here.
Chiefs trade their 2026 4th round pick (and hold onto the Bears' pick) along with 7.251 for pick 5.176 (trade with Jets)
5.176: Dylan Sampson (RB), Tennessee
Dynamic player at a position of future need. Sampson gives us some juice at a position where we're kind of heavy (except for Mitchell, who is injury-prone). I would love to see Sampson in our backfield. Bye Carson Steele.
7.226: Nazir Stackhouse (DT), Georgia
One more big guy for the D-line that needs rotational bodies with Pennel and Nnadi apparently gone.
7.257: Karene Reid (LB/ST), Utah
A guy who can help on ST.
