Not the most fun year to be a Jayhawk.
Used to loooove listening to Bob and Max back in the day whenever I was unable to watch the games live or on tv. Great pairing. And Bob was also quite good in the booth calling football. Too bad KU didn't typically give him or the fans much to get excited about, there were some great moments. His baseball calling skills weren't my favorite. Too many "AND THERE'S A FLARE TO RIGHT FIELD! and it's caught" "HE PUT A CHARGE INTO THAT ONE! and it's caught ten feet from the fence." But he was a great basketball and football guy, and by all accounts a classy, terrific guy and he'll definitely be missed.
