I've never owned one and never will so seeing people ****ing with their phones drives me up a wall. I got to watch in slow motion as each one of these assholes either pulled right out in front of me, while turning, on their phone or just picked up some motion out of the corner of their eye and pulled forward during a red light. Not a one of them ever looking up while in motion.
No way in hell I'd ride a bike today. Wouldn't do it. People are too ****ing stupid full time while driving. It's way worse than drunk driving ever was. The drunk at least saw some blurry double vision of something in front of them.

The first rule of defensive driving is to assume everybody around you is a ****ing idiot and act accordingly. Cellphones are idiocy enhancers.
One day not long ago I was nearly sideswiped by two separate morons within the space of two minutes. Not sure if either/both were ****ing around with a phone, but it wouldn't surprise me. I was too busy swerving out of the way to look.
