It’s the Dallas International Guitar Festival time of year. Is anybody on here planning to attend?
A couple of luthiers I know are showing off their wares this weekend. Kinghat Guitars has a couple of adjacent booths and offers some quality builds at a reasonable price. His photo yesterday showed some Pappas amps as well. I don’t know if Cody has his own booth this year or is just working with Mark. Some amazing original design hand built amps. I think you can get one of the guitars for around $2k. B Customs says he has 41 axes he carried over. These things are absolute works of art and if I had one, I don’t think I could bring myself to take it to a gig. Brian is a talented guy who plays, shoots video, and has a recording studio.
All 3 of the men are active musicians and good people. If you’re there you should stop by. Tell them Bob Dole sent you and get a confused look for free! (My real name is Scott,BTW.)
