That's probably the biggest difference between the teams from the Dalton era to the Burrow era IMO,, the offensive line.
Yes, the defense was all around better back then for sure,, but the O-line in the Dalton era was one of the best in the league, a very solid unit.
Whitworth, Andre Smith, Zeitler, Boling, Bodine was an excellent unit, especially with Big Whit and Zeitler being in their prime. They were solid for sure.
I think Burrow with that o-line, Aj Green, Eifert, Sanu would be extremely good and exciting to watch.
