I may also have to have a colonoscopy done every five years instead of every seven to ten years. I'd rather have weekly mammograms than go through that shit again (literally).

Wife has the same gene, or at least A gene. But I bet it’s the same one. I’m all in favor of cutting out anything that will develop cancer, but she’s like you not there yet.
Getting the imaging regularly helps ease my mind.
