This was my favorite draft since 2022. But we have to be patient.
The 2025 draft is about playing the long game. The past couple of drafts have been about seeking immediate return on investment.
When your first two picks are an offensive tackle and a defensive tackle then you aren't going to see an immediate return. At least not the return you are expecting. Those positions take a year or two to develop. It's not like an interior OL, Running Back, Defensive Back, Receiver, Linebacker, etc.
Playing Offensive Tackle and Defensive Tackle in the NFL is hard. Like really, really, really hard.
I appreciate Veach finally making an investment in these positions via the draft.
