Agreed..cleary he was overrated coming out of college. He may develop into a decent player someday but not a consistent pass rusher. Bryant McKinnie was a very realistic choice at that point without trading a 3rd round pick to boot as was Dante Stallworth. I admit that Sims was the DT that I wanted the most but with Henderson and Haynesworth also there I didn't see the need to move up just a couple picks and give up a 3rd rounder.
I contended all along that I would have taken Sims if he were there otherwise I would have probably taken Dante Stallworth. There was enough good quality there that the trade up didn't make a lot of sense. Looking at our pitiful WR corps Stallworth would be a very welcome addition right now.
