I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say, but much like the Panthers, the Pats are another good example of drafting well on the defensive side of the football. I mean, philosophically speaking, the Chiefs are not that far off from doing the exact same things the Pats and Panthers have done... in terms of philosophy it's very similiar. The difference is we have not done it well, we haven't drafted well, we haven't coached well, we haven't gameplanned well. You look at the Pats and Panthers and they are perfect models of what we
want to do defensively. The Panthers drafted 9 of the 11 defensive starters you saw today... the Pats drafted McGinest, Law, Seymour, Bruschi, Ty Warren, Eugene Wilson, Asante Samuel... what do the Chiefs have to show for the numerous defense draft picks we've made? Fujita? Sims? Wesley? Hicks?....
