I agree.
The defense played well in the first half yesterday. The offense sucked for nearly the entire game. When you spend the majority of your cap money on offense, you should be able to expect that offense to protect your defense a little bit. Not only did the offense fail to score enough points (10 points won't be adequate even against the worst NFL teams!?!) and fail to possess the ball long enough to give the defense a rest, they also failed to establish field position and gave the Panthers short fields throught the second half.
