As to your posting, I agree that at this point in time, it is an unknown whether or not the US would be better off if we hadn't gone into Iraq. I think it may take years before a conclusive answer can be had. If a stable, moderately democratic Iraq comes to fruition, I'd argue that going in was overall a positive.
