That's true for EVERY sport, if you have your heart in it. Even watching the NFL, for me, is watching mostly highlights. I am a fan of the Chiefs, so I'll watch their full games. Other games are too boring to me to watch (unless they directly have some effect on the Chiefs standings). The highlights? Those are interesting.
I bet if you somehow become a
fan of a soccer team you'd watch their
full games with anticipation and excitement. I watch Arsenal, Real Madrid, the MLS champship game, The U.S. National team, and the Iranian National team in full when they are available on the tube.
