His free agent decisions, at the end of the Marty era, to get them over the hump were the worst. IMO Dan Williams was the worst thing that ever happened to the Chiefs. However, I remember when I heard that he had signed PH that I was ecstactic. I think his decision to bring in DV was perfect due to the fact that the Chiefs were at the laughing stock of the NFL stage. DV bringing in profile players has restored respect to the franchise, even though they have not yet accomplished what a lot of fans think is the only sign of success, a Super Bowl Victory.
