Nick Athan makes statements as fact. You don't see Whitlock writing an article saying "the deal is done with Ty Law, we're just waiting to anounce it". Athan pretends to know something no one else knows, and passes it of as fact. He just flat out lies. And he does it under the guise of journalism.
This isn't a guy that some posters just don't agree with. It's not a guy that occasionally makes a factual error in his articles. He has no credibility, whatsoever. Figure it out. The fact that this poll is suggesting a ban by a large margin right now should be enough to give you the hint.

Jason Whitlock- "Peterson doesnt care about winning, just filling the seats". Its an opinion yes, but its also a slanderous lie designed to stir controversy for his behalf. So you are suggesting that lies should be excused as long as they are expressed through an opinion?
Nick Athan - "the deal is done with Trotter, we're just waiting to anounce it". Its a lie that perhaps was based on opinion, but I also heard two reporters from ESPN state the same thing. So I'm not trying to excuse anyone from lying, nor do I want to promote someone who makes a habit of it. If someone makes a special Athon warning icon I have no issue with that, all I'm trying to say is that a
ban on someone who perhaps lies more than the other lies, would be simply be hypocritical.
