"Little Boy" was the first A-Bomb we dropped. It exploded 1800' above Hiroshima. Most of the damage was caused by 900+ mph winds at the hypercenter. 7000° temperatures also took a toll. Radiation added to the misery. A total of 200,000 people killed. All this from a bomb the size of a propane tank 10' long and 28" wide that weighed 8900#. It was a uranium bomb.
