I missed the first part of it but saw a portion of the ending. Some Thoughts....
The "Damn Straight that stuff happens" award goes to the heartfelt message that the soldier sent home and then a cut away once it gets home to his wife screwing some other dude. And the dude looking like he was in the army/marines with the buzzcut. I think anyone who has been in the military has a story or two about how some dude or some female soldier/sailor was getting "screwed" by the significant other.
The "Damn I cant believe they showed that on tv" goes to at the end when the convoy stops and the truck stops on the mine and blows the hell out of the truck, they showed the medic trying to move the dude's leg and showed a portion of it detach...DAAAAMMMNNN!!! Good thing I wasnt eating.
See I might have missed some of the other stuff from earlier in the show so I can only talk about what I saw but I hope they do a repeat so I can see it from start to finish. Obviously if I saw the walking lower extremity that would trump the leg detachment.
