It was a Top 10 defense talent wise. As evidenced by how many guys were drafted high in the draft. The problem was they went with a totally different scheme last year. Callahan made a huge mistake in my opinion by not keeping Pelini on as DC. This year they brought in former Osborne DC Charlie McBride to work with Cosgrove. Course Charlie is working sans pay out of loyalty to the program. They're returning to more of a blitzing/zone defense like they've always run. It should be vastly different results.
