The Numbers Game
Things may get very interesting for the Seahawks over the next 24 hours as Peter Warrick, the former Cincinnati Bengals receiver, is on his way to Kirkland for a physical after being released by the Bengals Tuesday.

Warrick, 28, averaged 63 catches and nearly 700 yards his first four seasons with the Bengals, and nearly 10 yards a punt return. But last season he played in only four games due to a knee injury, and that’s what the Seahawks medical staff will look at very closely on Wednesday. The primary interest appears to be as a kick-returner, but if he’s healthy, the 5-11, 180-pound Warrick is an electrifying player and could be a factor as a wide receiver as well. A consensus All-American as a junior and senior at Florida State, he also has a degree in political science.
