FTR, it was the same shit from the far right toward the end of the Clinton years, and his scandals. Neither of the extremist sides knows when to say, "enough." It's all about us vs. them, all about irrational personal attacks and demagoguery, all about why the other side sucks or is evil.....
The concept of the loyal opposition in politics has been replaced by slash-and-burn politics of personal attacks, talking points, and propaganda masquerading as "facts and evidence." It's all become bullshit. And BOTH sides are to blame.
