The problem with the Rolling Roof is that while it would keep the elements out, there would be no way to control the temprature inside, since you couldn't seal it up. So it would still be freezing inside the stadium, even though everyone would be dry. I've got no problems with that, but the NFL and their corproate sponsors do. That's problem 1.
Problem 2, according to the NFL, is that KC needs more hotels. Apparently the accomodations in KC are either not plentiful enough, not up to standards, or both.
Problem 3, according to the NFL, there are not enough golf courses around here, and the temprature is not condusive to playing golf. Why the NFL cares about golf courses I don't know, but that was mentioned last year in the article in the Star about this topic.
So short of building a new stadium, KC will never see a Super Bowl, or for that matter a MLB All Star Game...
