Nah, gaming system isn't really what I was going for... I needed a new video card cause my old one is crapping out on me (screen goes black at odd times, and also having lines scroll vertically every now and then)
I saw the 6600 read good reviews on it, priced it and saw it was cheap.
I've been wanting to upgrade anyway, so while it was a mistake, it wasn't the end of the world.
This whole upgrade (new motherboard, gig of ddr2 ram, 2 video cards, much faster processor, new case with a much better power supply, and a tv tuner card) cost me about 440 dollars. I'm selling all the old stuff from my current computer for 200 dollars.
So I'm getting a MUCH improved computer for 240 dollars.
It sounds like I could have been smarter with my choices, but all in all its not a bad deal
