Good morning. In less than a day, fans from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest football battle in this history of the NFL.
NFL -- that word should have new meaning for all of us today.
We can't be consumed by our petty market differences anymore.
We will be united in our common interest of watching the damn game.
Perhaps its fate that today is the 20th of Octobor, and you will once again be fighting for freedom, not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution -- but from the inability to watch your Chiefs game.
We're fighting for our right to watch football, to exist.
And should we win the game, the 20th of October will no longer be known as a day that doesn't mean shit, but as the day when the fans of the NFL declared in one voice:
"We will not go quietly into the night!
We will not vanish without a fight!
We're going to watch the damn game!
We're going to survive!"
