I was not born yet. I would like to point out that many Presidential historians are now of the opinion that JFK was merely a average president. We tend to romanticize his presidency due to his charisma, youth and the fact that he was assassinated. I would also point out that a president's popularity does not equate to presidential greatness. Truman was reviled during the majority of his last term but now many historians categorize his presidency as "near great".
