For some of us, this is pretty much a tradition. I'm at home alone on another family holiday (fourth in a row) and the parade is on in the background.
Just hearing the parade takes me back to a simpler time when we would wake up on Thanksgiving, the smell of turkey and fixins already in the air, the entire family (who always seemed to stay at our house) in from all parts unknown....
Whether I actually 'watch' it or not, the parade is always on my tv on Thanksgiving.
