Sounds like Waters was to blame but that Green didn't want to say that explicitly because it wouldn't have been constructive. I'd guess that neither Vermeil, Green or Waters would want Green to take blame that isn't truly is. He did a good job of diffusing the blame from his inexperienced colleague and reinforcing the obvious importance of having flawless QB-Center exchanges.
