I would be disappointed if they hired a proven mediocre coach like Edwards. I would harbor ill will and wish a Cubs like curse on the franchise if they gave up draft pick compensation for said proven mediocre coach.
He might "play to win the game" but he fails to accomplish that goal far too often for my tastes.
