Per the Powerball web site, the current cash value is $177.3 million. Your federal taxes on that (married filing jointly) would be about $62 million. Depending on your state, you're going to have another $3 mil or so in state tax on top of that. So it's
only $112 million, or 30% of the posted jackpot value. Divide by three, divide by four, it's all about the same.
