Actually, even a loss to KS may be the best thing for the Tigers. The program is taking a lot of heat right now. The more heat, the closer things will be looked at, and the more apt changes could occur. Currently, the AD's job is quite unstable. And according to news reports coming out of Columbia, the curators aren't too happy with things and are launching their own investigation. Could it be that even Floyd could be in the hot seat now? Things could get interesting and having MU's most hated rival handle our team like this can only help right now.

At this point in the season, at least for a few seasons now, MU didn't have anything to play for. I guess you could say beating KU at home on the last game of the reg season is kinda something to play for, but there's no end result of that matter. I think every player on MU would rather go on to postseason play in the NCAA tourney than rather beat KU at home, and if that statement is wrong, it's really sad.
