I guess you could say beating KU at home on the last game of the reg season is kinda something to play for, but there's no end result of that matter. I think every player on MU would rather go on to postseason play in the NCAA tourney than rather beat KU at home, and if that statement is wrong, it's really sad.

I don't know, I imagine you've probably been on some sports teams in your life. Probably some good, some bad right? And on those bad teams didn't you still go out every time wanting to win and fighting to do so? If you can't play for pride then somethings wrong. Even without hope for a postseason at this point as a player you should still go out there and play your ass off if for no other reason than you don't want to be embarassed.
