The RPI formula is (1) 25% team winning percentage, (2) 50% opponents' winning percentage, and (3) 25% opponents' opponents' winning percentage.
Last year they added (road vs home). You get 1.4 for road victories 1 for neutral W's and 0.6 * for home.
So...We've played or will play both. They both count the same for (2) opponent's win pct. OSU's goes up and doesn't hurt us as bad, and Texas's goes down which balances that out.
They are both on the road, so no difference there.
It's a lot different than the Sagarin Ratings that factor in quality of wins. If what you mean is that it hurts us in terms of national perception or quality of wins for the tournament committee, that might be true.
