I know I'll get killed for this....
I used to think the same way you do about soccer....I grew up with the big 3 (baseball, basketball, football)....but once I started playing soccer and watching it played on the highest level (National teams, premiere league), it's quite entertaining.......
If you've never been, I suggest going sometime...the level of athleticism of soccer players (not to mention conditioning) is incredible.
Now, yes...there are things I hate it about it...such as the clock issue...and there are flopping the likes that Vlade Divac would be jealous of....but the game is pretty exciting once you give it a chance.
On a separate note....one other thing that drives me crazy...
Get rid of the stupid rule in College Football that states you're down if you're knee touches the ground (even if you're not touched by a defensive player)....ridiculous
