The guy's faced a month of minor league pitching. I don't think he's ready. And if he is, then more seasoning isn't going to hurt him, just make him make that much more of an impact when he comes up. There was a time where Teahen was ripping the cover off the ball in spring training and everybody thought Baird would be crazy to send him down like he wanted to. This is the same deal. If he comes up and struggles then everybody is gonna stamp him with the bust label like they have Teahen, even though Teahen's not a bust yet.
