In all seriousness, though, I like the rep system. When I click on a thread that is started by someone bleeding red, I know that others have found that person to be lacking. It's also often a troll alert if someone's completely red. Often times, I'll just ignore the thread entirely. On the other hand, I tend to trust the opinions of long-time "icons" a bit more than others. It's not a perfect system, but it's nice in some ways.
