I guess during your "50 years" of following KU basketball "prominence" your selective memory forgets the fact this is the second time in the past 18 years that the Kansas basketball program is facing probation (cough cough, illegal benefits scandal under Larry Brown/postseason ban as a result ring a bell?)
Is that your definition of achieving "basketball prominence legally"?
