You are my kind of people. Walking to my stand, suddenly a loud flapping sound over my head. The startling noise makes me go to my knees. My adrenaline is pumping so hard I can literally hear my heart pumping. I see a dark silhouette fly over head. It disappears in the distance. The woods are still asleep, I'm sure the turkey flying over is pissed that it had to leave its roost early. I gather my senses and trudge on to my stand. Once on board, I try to cool down and calm down. As the woods begin to wake, I hear crashing leaves coming from behind me. I ready my Remington for whatever comes to view. That same Turkey has has my adrenaline pumping again. I love the woods. I love to hunting.
