I fall somewhere in between "I have no clue" and "I don't believe "in the myths of bronze age goat herders""

Religion and science are no more than divergent ways to strive to understand something beyond our current level of understanding, i.e. the universe. They're essentially one and the same, it's simply a matter of choice with regards to where to put your faith, one road being the supernatural and belief that it's somthing beyond our understanding, the other being an attempt to fit reality into the confines of our current, limited knowlege.

I prefer science, personally, but that doesn't mean in the end that religion, or some tenets thereof, won't be right. That also doesn't mean that I don't recognize the inherent value of some of those said tenets.

If we need to get specific (the poll was left vague, but I think it was clearly about Christianity), then I don't see any reason why Christian mythology is any more or less relevant than any other. There's good to be found in a lot of religions, I just don't know (one way or the other) that any of them are based on anything more than myth. Those of you who choose to place your faith in religion, I respect and in some ways hope you're right, because it's much more romantic to think that my death will result in something more profound than fine dining for worms.
