"Research grant" is sucking at the teet of the guvmint. Fewer the better. The results of the research is almost always, "we need more money to study the affects of coffee drinking; softer toilet paper; why your kid is so stoopid; why your and idiot and I'm a genious, blah, blah, blah)."
