I picked up one in an auction last year. Right off hand I think it is a '96. I've been using it ever since. I got it for $800. I'm a married guy with four kids, two of them are under 18. It doesn't have very much power but I'm a very mellow driver. I tend to set the cruise control right about the speed limit and leave it alone until I get to where I'm going.

Then again, I never really have given a shit what other people think of my vehicles. My previous car was an '83 Volvo Station Wagon with a "way back" seat that would fit seven people. Worked great because I would end up taking my four kids to school plus an extra kid or two when they had friends spend the night.
