Herm better used his WR's than Dick Vermeil did. In fact, without Priest Holmes and future HoF'er Tony Gonzales, Vermeil's vaunted passing attack would not have even been CLOSE to Herm's.
Comparing any Herm led offense with DVs Chiefs offense is like comparing high school footbal to the NFL and saying high schools run the ball better because they generate more rushing yards per game. The Chiefs had a TE that caught 100 balls and led the NFL in offense. Who the hell cares if they didn't throw to the WRs every play? I would imagine San Diegos offense in 2006 looks about the same as DV's statwise sa far as WR catch...but they were still at the top in offense.
