Let me first start by saying, LT, and Barry Sanders are F'ing amazing talent. You can't develop that type of talent. But, in my (newbie) opinion, they are different types of talents. What makes LT so great is his refriggindiculous speed combined with great intuition. Sanders didn't have blazing speed, but had crazy nimble feet and could make any defensive player miss and look like a 'tard. If you went through the highlight reels of the two players, LT couldn't throw down 35 jukes, and make the best defensive player in the NFL fall down, and Sanders couldn't break a Chiefs tackle and go for 85 yards by leaving the Chiefs in the dust.

To define one as better than the other would mean defining one's skill set as superior to the other's. Not something I would like to do, especially now, since LT hasn't summed up his career. Even after LT throws in the towel on a fantastic career, there will still be the arguement of the two playing for very different teams, talent levels, play calling, and perhaps even different eras.

Crucify me for riding the fence, but my final answer has to be that they are both fantastic players. I can't effectively evaluate one as higher than the other.
