The funny thing is, I have never lived anywhere where people didn't use that phrase.
"If you don't like the weather in Denver, just wait five minutes."
"If you don't like the weather in New York, just wait five minutes."
"If you don't like the weather in Palm Springs, just wait five minutes."
"If you don't like the weather at the Vostok Research Station in Antarctica, just wait five minutes."
