I agree with this. I've never seen the purpose with that stupid waiting game anyway. I did talk to a male friend of mine one time who had an interesting take on it. If you call a girl too soon, and she think's you're hot (or she's really interested), then she'll think it's cute that you couldn't wait to talk to her. On the other hand, if she was unsure about you (potential, but not hot), then she would see it a stalking/creepy/obsessive. I think that's true both ways.
