I think it’s a case that he decided the play wasn’t going to work and just stepped through the motions rather than attacking. But that’s just my opinion from what I’m seeing.

Yeah, that stuff just drives me crazy. I know football traditionalists believe in that moment you can seal the game by pounding the ball and wearing down the defense. But when you're playing a defense that has whooped your ass all day and has shown they can get in the backfield with ease, why do you expect it to work now? I think that formation would have been right if we were playing a lesser defensive team, but not one that was owning our running attack like they were. It was like we just conceded we weren't going to get the first down. All we wanted them to do was force them to burn their timeouts.
