I'm not going to keep addressing everyones "assumptions" as to what I believe and don't believe, seen or haven't seen, done or haven't done. These questions are assinine and you guys can pile on if you wish. I'll sum my beliefs, thoughts, and what I believe is right or wrong in one sentence:
"ANYONE repeat ANYONE who hits another in the knees and they don't see it coming is committing a CHEAP SHOT!"
Blitzing defenders are facing a RB, see the hit coming, and can brace themselves to take the hit. This was not the situation today. You can throw out hypotheticals all day long. It doesn't change what Trent did.
I have a knee injury, it was the result of a cheap shot, I speak from experience.
