Pennington needs a hop skip and a jump to throw the ball on intermediate routes (15-30yards), as where almost every other NFL QB just flicks his wrists to do that.
Yeah, he can throw a nice bomb. but he can't do
what's necessary to stretch the field. the Ravens defense showed more respect for Kellen Clemens in week 2 than the Bills defense showed for Pennington the following week. they crowd the LOS and play the receivers tight (which gets them killed), and the db's constantly jump the routes. it's horrible.
